Design Management Experience

Thiru has successfully delivered a $600 Billion precinct project consisting of nine buildings and 17+ engineering disciplines ensuring all disciplines are interfaced together. The design team exceeded 30+ engineers spanning across three years of design. This includes identifying and delegating work to appropriate team members and taking the overall projects responsibility to ensure that outputs meet client expectations including delivering to quality, time and project budget.

Technical excellence, creativity and design focus

Focus is ensuring that all work is of an exceptionally high standard while encouraging collaboration, enthusiasm, and a design focus.

Designs are closely coordinated with the architects, BCA Consultants, fire engineers and project brief requirements.

All projects are coordinated and delivered in BIM with regular clash detection workshops and transparency of the designs to the client.

Client Relationship Manager

Maintain key client relationships and ensure deliverables are within required timeframes, quality assurance and budgets in addition to assisting with bids, preparation and negotiation of fee proposals, client presentations, developing marketing material, invoicing and commercial delivery of projects to clients. 

Ensure all designs are clearly articulated and presented to the end clients.

Active involvement in all stages of project design,

Experience in all project phases from master planning, infrastructure planning, concept design, spatial planning, cost planning, value management, engineered solutions, detailed design and construction supervision.

Have successfully managed the delivery of various iconic developments from concept stage through to delivery on projects valued up to $1 Billion.

Identifying and assessing potential risks in complex projects

Successful project delivery encompasses undertaking risk management and proposing design solutions.

This is undertaken from bid proposal stage to demonstrate the project understanding and value adds to the project. These risks are closely monitored and mitigated through the design process.

Aim to be transparent in proposals in our approach to existing site conditions / latent conditions and scope definition around design and redesign.

Overseeing resourcing, mentoring, training, developing and motivating teams across a range of skill sets to achieve successful outcomes on projects.

Stakeholder Engagement

Working closely with client stakeholders including senior management level, project managers, development managers and architects to canvass client and business requirements on projects.

Whole life cycle approach

Designs are reviewed not just from a CAPEX perspective but integrate OPEX reviews where relevant. Passionate about integrating renewable technologies and energy saving opportunities into projects.
